Here's your guide to making the most of your stay with us.

How do you get to your K-hute?
You can park in the free car park on the estate.
We will welcome you there.
In front of the church in Castaignos-Souslens you will see a water tower.
You have to go to the end of the little path that starts in front of it.

Breakfast basket
Your breakfast is included in the price of the night.You have a choice of:
- Sweet basket = Homemade jam, Honey, Butter, Yoghurt, Pyrenean pie, Apple juice and Farmhouse bread
- Savoury basket = Cheese, White ham, Butter, Egg, Farmhouse bread, Apple juice
.Served from 8am to 10am
All products are fresh and local.
Functionality of the coffee maker
It's a Percolator Coffee Maker
Although it's not the most practical, it doesn't produce any waste.
We don't use any capsules or pods, and the coffee grounds are very good for plants and compost.
What's more, the percolator type ensures that the aroma of the ground coffee is retained, so your hot drink will be that much better!
Non-coffee drinkers, we haven't forgotten you! Organic tea and herbal teas are also available in the K-hute.
Example of use:
The on/off button is located on the right-hand side of the coffee maker.
It is often used for strong espresso-type coffees, but it can easily be adapted to suit your tastes.
For 1 long coffee: - fill a rounded black spoon with ground coffee (steel can next to the coffee maker)
- pour into the percolator container
- press down with the back of the black spoon
- insert the percolator and slide it to the right using the handle to lock it in place.
-press the 2 Cup button - if you need to make it even longer, I advise you to press the 1 Cup button
Dry toilets
1st important thing:
Relax, we use them at home and if you follow our instructions there will be no risk of odour, that's a promise!
- Everybody SIT DOWN
(and yes, gentlemen, you too!)
- To urinate, aim for the front of the bowl.
- for the rest, it's in the bucket at the back of the bowl
- Throw the toilet paper into the bucket at the back of the bowl
- Cover with a good scoop of sawdust.
The plus: no smell and no "splash".
Ladies, there's a bin in the toilets for your protection.
The little extras
- To turn on the heating, open the false drawer and choose the intensity of heat and light
Beware the K-hutes are insulated in wood fibre, for your comfort turn it off during the night
- Switch of the fan to the left of the French window
Outside light switch to the right of the French window
- Bluetooth speaker - charger behind the frame next to it
- Solar garland (on/off top button and bottom button mode)
- Plaids / ashtray available on the terrace
Nordic bath stove
We'll heat up the bath for your arrival.
Depending on outside temperatures, we'll ensure the bath is used on your arrival and for approximately 1h30/2h.
For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to touch the wood-burning stove or the bath filtration system.

To guarantee your safety and that of the accommodation, the k-hutes are equipped with:
- Smoke detector -> above the bed
- Fire extinguisher -> left bottom cupboard Wc
- Fire blanket -> cupboard under the kitchen sink

Hygiene products
Please use our biodegradable hygiene products.
In fact we have an ecological sanitation which requires the use of environmentally friendly products.
These are ECOCERT certified products - 100% natural :)
The shower one has a dual use, it can be used as shower gel but also as shampoo.
However, you can use your own toothpaste as it's only a small amount ;)
